Benefits of humic Acid

Humic Acid
As a Foliar application:
Humic Acid acts as a natural soil and plant growth stimulant. It is easily assimilated by plants and some of its main functions include improving: Plant immunity, Plant metabolism, Plant root development, the Supply of plant nutritional elements and increasing the formation of ferments by binding itself to the molecules.
It promotes the increased accumulation of chlorophyll, sugar, amino acids and more and improves the efficiency of nitrogen utilization, allowing for reduced fertilizer rates.
One of the primary actions of Humic Acid is to increase the plant’s ability to withstand the stresses of heat, drought, cold, disease, insect and other types of environmental or cultural pressures.
Humic also increases general plant productivity, in terms of yield, as well as plant stem strength.
As a soil Amendment:
Humic Acid increases nutrient uptake, drought tolerance and seed germination.
It increases the microbial activity in the soil making it an excellent root stimulator. Humic Acid increases the availability of nutrients that are already in your soil and will naturally aerate the soil from the inside. It also will help to lower the pH of the soil and will flush high levels of salts out of the root zone
Humic acid feed the microbes in the soil.

* Humic acid can easily be over applied to young plants; this can harm and/or stunt them and can ultimately kill the young plant. I have used Humic acid as a soil amendment and as a foliar very successfully and feel that it is a vital part to why my plants reach their growth potential. It is a part of my early seedling feeding schedule and an essential part of my Compost tea recipe. I prefer the soluble powder; I can mix my own strength. I will give seedlings a small diluted amount; you can see the difference over night.
Recently my plants were damaged to the point where I thought they were beyond repair. I gave them a mix of Humic, Fulvic, Kelp and fish 3 times drenched in the root zone; they came back to life, beautiful plants in a week’s time.
